Procurement Department

The Procurement Department is saddled with the following functions:

1. Prepare the procurement needs of the Commission in collaboration with Departments, Zonal/State Offices.
2. Handle all Capital Procurement.
3. Handle all Recurrent Procurement.
4. Preparation of Tendering Process, Evaluation and Certification.
5. Monitoring and compliance of Capital Projects.
6. Conduct price intelligence.
7. Conduct Technical/Standard Bid specification.
8. Stock receipting and Documentation.
9. Prepare Departmental annual report and submission of same to the Planning, Research and Statistics Department on or before end of first quarter of the following year.
10. Carry out any other assignment as may be directed by the Chairman or the Commission.
