The Chairman of the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC), Dr. Mohammed Bello Shehu, OFR, has received the Award on Fiscal Governance and Reformer of the Year 2025 from Blueprint Newspaper at the 8th Edition of its Public Lecture, Impact Series and Awards in Abuja.
The event, held at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre on Tuesday 18th August, 2026 featured distinguished political leaders, government officials and other stakeholders.
Themed “Security Challenges and Integrity of Nigeria’s 2027 Election,” the event provided a platform for national dialogue on electoral security, democratic institutions and the collective responsibility of Nigerians in safeguarding the 2027 electoral process.
Other notable recipients of the distinguished Blueprint Newspaper Awards were: The APC Chairman, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda; Executive Governor, Zamfara State, His Excellency Dr. Dauda Lawal; Former Zamfara State Governor, Sen. Abdulaziz Abubakar Yari; Former Bauchi State Governor, Barr. Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar; Chairman, House Committee on Finance, Hon. James Faleke; Central Bank Governor, Olayemi Cardoso; Registrar General, Corporate Affairs Commission, Hussaini Ishaq Magaji, SAN, amongst others.
Dr. Bello Shehu’s recognition highlights his contributions to public service, fiscal accountability and institutional development.
